Synopsis:
Captain Kryle has written a book about a swimmer who goes around the world in 80 hours. His publisher believes the story to be incredulous. To prove his book is believable, Kryle enlists Aquaman’s help. If Aquaman can make the journey, Kryle will have his book published and give part of the proceeds to charity.
As Aquaman makes his journey around the world, a group of smugglers known as Smugglers, Incorporated attacks him. First they send planes to shoot at him, which Aquaman defeats with ink from his squid. Next, Aquaman gets some help from a navy patrol to take out a menacing submarine. To escape from nuclear radiation, Aquaman coats himself in a suit of lead armor.
Near the end of the journey, the path is blocked by mines, laid by the smugglers. Aquaman goes ashore and crosses an island. He and the accompanying Aqualad are almost killed when they are out of water for an hour on the island, but Aquaman saves them by mixing hydrogen and oxygen to create water.
Aquaman’s journey is successful. Kryle publishes his book, and Aquaman rounds up the smugglers.
