Synopsis:
While on monitor duty the Blue Beetle receives a telephone call. When he gets off the phone he turns into a homicidal maniac with intentions to kill Maxwell Lord. The Beetle wounds Oberon, then chases Max into the streets. The chase leads to an alley where Max is saved by the arrival of the Huntress. She knocks out the Beetle.
Batman then arrives and mistakes the Huntress as the attacker. While he fights her, the Beetle recovers and goes after Max again. The Batman realizes his mistake and stops Beetle from killing Max. The Huntress escapes in the confusion.
