Synopsis:
Maxwell Lord is taken hostage by a trio of mercenaries. They have been hired to extort a half a billion dollars from Max's company and the Justice League. Max soon turns the situation to his advantage by pitting the kidnappers against one another. After they are fired by their employer, the kidnappers release Max and give the remainder of their advance fee to the Justice League, which Booster uses to buy a new television.
