Comments:
This story is continued from Weird #1 and continues in Weird #3.
Synopsis:
The Weird seeks out Billy Langley, the son of the late Walter Langley whom the Weird has used as a host. The alien explains that he is a Zarolatt from another dimension who has come to Earth to stop the Macrolatt's of his world from coming to conquer Earth. To do so, he has utilized the dead body of Walter Langley to assume corporeal form.
After his talk his Billy, the Weird seeks out Jason Morgan, an Earthman who is working with the Macrolatts to create a bridge between dimensions. Superman intercepts the Weird and tries to get him to leave the planet. The Man of Steel is concerned that the alien's unstable molecular structure is a threat to the Earth. The Weird tries to escape. A chase ensues. The Weird evades Superman and reveals the danger he presents to a reporter. The Weird then finds and confronts Jason Morgan.
