Synopsis:
Gnort was born to parent Gnelson and Gnancy Gneesmacher on a distant planet inhabited by puppo-sapiens. His people including his parents all considered him an idiot. However, his uncle Gnewman Gnoggs was a former Green Lantern and petitioned the Guardians of the Universe to give Gnort a power ring. After denying the request multiple times, the Guardians relented and made Gnort a Green Lantern. He was given charge of a nearly lifeless space sector, but he eventually came into contact with the Justice League.
