Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite Part Two
This story is continued from Superman #49 and continues in Starman #28.
Synopsis:
Clark Kent meets Lois Lane at the hospital where he learns that the medication which is keeping Lois's mother alive is no longer effective. Later as Superman, he contacts Emil Hamilton in an effort to regain his lost powers. Hamilton can't help, but he gives Superman a force field belt and other equipment to keep him in the action. During the meeting with Hamilton, Mammoth begins rampaging on the streets of Metropolis, forcing Superman to go into action with the new equipment. The force field belt fails, but Superman is able to trick Mammoth and bluff him into surrendering. Superman then contacts Kitty Faulkner and Starman for assistance.
