Comments:
This story is presented as Bonus Book #12 and features "Legends of the Amazons".

The time frame in which this story occurs is not clear. It must occur some time after Doom's Doorway was sealed as shown in flashback in Wonder Woman Annual #1. It likely occurs before the birth of Princess Diana.

Synopsis:
Janestra is an Amazon woman who dreams of flight. Three fiends who are held prisoner by Doom's Doorway decide to use Janestra's dream to free themselves. They summon a demon, who disguised as Icarus convinces Janestra to take the Golden Arrow of Abaris from the Amazon archives. The demon then attempts to use the arrow's power to open Doom's Doorway. Janestra fights the demon and uses the arrow to slay it. Despite the adventure, Janestra still dreams of flight.
