A Lonely Place of Dying Part 2

This story is continued from Batman #440 and continues in Batman #441.

Synopsis:
The Titans search for Dick Grayson who has disappeared. They search his apartment and discover a photograph is missing from inside his safe. The photo was taken by a young boy who is also looking for Dick. The photo leads him to the Haly Circus, which is going out of business.

Dick grew up at Haly Circus as an acrobat. He discovers that times have become hard for his old friends. He decides to join the show, which is interrupted when a lion mauls the animal trainer to death. Dick thinks the accident was planned.

Before Dick can investigate, he meets the boy who was looking for him. The boy also suspected foul play and provides Dick with some evidence. The drunk clown named Harry is the lead suspect. Dick proves the clown is innocent. He uncovers the real killers. He then helps to keep the circus going by becoming a co-owner.

Later, Dick speaks to the boy, who knows his secret and Batman's. The boy urges Dick to return to Gotham to help Batman who has not been himself since the death of Jason Todd.
