Synopsis:
Following her visit to Paradise Island with Julia and Vanessa, Wonder Woman addresses the U.N. General Assembly to announce Themyscira's intention to open itself to visitors from the other nations. A mysterious robed figure confronts Wonder Woman after the meeting, then disappears. Wonder Woman then returns to Boston where a man in a winged helmet has appeared.
Wonder Woman is shocked when the man turns out to be Hermes, the Olympian god who has stayed behind while the other gods left for parts unknown. He reveals himself to the world. His presence also begins to cause problems as his gifts are seen by some as bribes. Julia, who is already dealing with Vanessa's sudden rise in popularity due to her trip to Themyscira, refuses to allow Hermes to stay with her. Wonder Woman departs with the Olympian.
Hermes is later approached by a woman claiming to be a true believer. She leads Hermes into a trap set by Phobos and reveals herself to be the gorgon Euryale.
