Synopsis:
Jade awakens from near death to find that Brain Wave, Jr. has been encapsulated in ice by the Icicle. Her power pulse is too weak to free him, but she is able to make mental contact with him. Inside his mind, she finds his father, the original Brain Wave, trying to lead Hank to his death.

Meanwhile, the Dummy, Hazard, and the Harlequin have Stripesy and his son cornered. Hazard does not wish to kill the child, so she turns out the lights, allowing Stripesy and his son to escape. Artemis and Icicle arrive to restore power to the lights. Stripesy is forced to surrender in order to give his son time to get to safety.

Nuklon, Obsidian, and Wildcat are returning and learn of Stripesy's peril. Mr. Bones has joined them too, but Obsidian abandons the group to search for Jade who is believed dead. Nuklon, Bones, and Wildcat are led into a trap. Nuklon faces Solomon Grundy, Wildcat battles Artemis, and Bones fights Icicle.

Obsidian finds Jade alive and helps free Brain Wave from the ice. The trio return in time to reinforce their friends in the battle against Injustice Unlimited. Brain Wave interferes with the Harlequin and blocks her illusions. Grundy had perceived that she was Jade, but without the illusion to guide him, he turns on the other villains. The fight concludes with the villains' defeat. Grundy disappears and a fire that broke out during the fight destroys Stellar Studios. When the villains are taken away, the members of Infinity Inc. mourn the loss of their leader Sylvester Pemberton.
