This story is continued from Infinity Inc. #35 and continues in part in Infinity Inc. #37.

Synopsis:
Hourman breaks his bonds and confronts the Wizard. The Wizard causes a giant clock to fall on his opponent which nearly kills him. The villain then makes plans for his exit. Before he can leave with the stolen money, his partners from Injustice Unlimited return.

While the villains argue amongst themselves, the heroes try to break free. Under the rubble Hourman reaches his miraclo and the boost of strength that it gives him allows him to free himself. Shade and the Fiddler are caught, but the other villains escape.

While fleeing the scene, the Wizard and his partners run into Jade and Solomon Grundy who are returning from the arctic. She brings down their plane and another battle ensues. Hourman has followed them and tries to stop the Wizard from escaping again. To do so, he impales the Wizard. Though it wasn't his intent, the miraclo caused Hourman to be reckless and as a result the Wizard is killed.
