Guy Gardner invites the other Green Lanterns to join him at a New Year's Eve party. When the othes all wish to work at headquarters, he drugs their water with a substance which makes them all drunk. Guy watches the Green Lanterns drunken behavior, then is surprised by the arrival of Kari Limbo. Kari drugs him too, then doses herself.
When an emergency arises in the form of flying pink aliens, Hal, John, Arisia, and Guy use their rings to neutralize the drug in their systems. They engage the aliens then realize that they are manifestations of Salakk's subconscious mind. When they revive Salakk, the aliens disapper. Guy is then kicked out for his actions. He leaves to go join the Justice League.
