Synopsis:
Clark Kent visits the home of Paul Dorgan, a sociologist who believes someone is trying to prevent America’s return to prosperity. Dorgan is murdered, so Superman returns to his home to look for clues. He runs across some burglars from whom he gets information. They work for Barney Calhoun and are sabotaging several industries.
Superman prevents several calamities and traces the destruction back to Calhoun. The gang leader reveals he works for J.F. Curtis, a man with foreign interests in mind. The Man of Steel brings Calhoun to Curtis who executes his former partner. Curtis then tries to electrocute Superman, but he is unaffected. However, Superman touches his opponent and the electricity is transferred to Curtis, killing him.
