Synopsis:
Following the suicide of the President of the United States, Congress seeks a replacement. They choose Travis Morgan. He initially rejects the offer, but eventually comes to accept it. After being sworn into office though, he is not happy about the bureaucracy. The world he inherits is also still devastated from the recent nuclear war.
Morgan soon questions Dr. Franklin and learns about his time travel experiments. Franklin takes him to a top secret underground facility. Morgan recognizes it as the same facility that he discovered on the way to New Atlantis. Morgan then concocts a plan to use time travel to alter the history of the world.
