Comments:
This story is continued from Warlord #79.

Dr. Reno Franklin appears in two time periods in this story. He appears with Travis Morgan in the 24th century. He also appears in present day Skartaris, although he is cloaked to mask his true identity. Chronologically, Franklin's appearance in Skartaris takes place after his adventures in the 24th century as revealed in Warlord #86.

Synopsis:
In the Atlantean weapons cache Tara and Scarhart are surprised by a group of New Atlanteans. They are about to be captured when the arrival of a man in a black hood takes the attackers off guard. Tara and her people win the fight, but the hooded man disappears before he can be questioned.

Elsewhere, Travis Morgan, Shakira, and Krystovar find themselves trapped in the future. They are stuck in a secret mountain complex where Dr. Franklin is conducting experiments. Due to odd chronal radiation, time inside the mountain moves slower than outside. When Shakira ventures outside, she finds a post-apocalyptic world. She is gone for days, but just moments pass inside the mountain.

When Shakira returns, Franklin decides to leave the mountain. Morgan and Krystovar go with him. Evidence shows that more time has passed outside than previously thought. A calendar dated 2303 is found in the rubble. The group is then taken prisoner by a U.S. Air Force craft. Morgan and his friends are believed to be spies.
