Comments:
This story continues in the third story of Action Comics #30.

Synopsis:
The Black Pirate sails his ship, the Sea Queen, into a small island cove for repairs. The ship is then attacked by raiders wearing red. As the fight appears to be lost, the Black Pirate orders his crew to surrender. He then dives into the water to escape.

When the raiders are gone, Jon swims back to the island. He locates the raiders' camp and their stockade. A short time later, the raiders leave the camp to raid another ship. The Black Pirate seizes the opportunity and frees his men from the stockade. When the raiders return to their camp, the pirates are armed and waiting.
