Synopsis:
Danny Benson, a boy without a father, visits the local park where there is a statue of Batman. Danny talks to the statue like it was his father. One day, the real Batman happens by while Danny is talking to the statue. Batman is impressed by the good-natured boy and gives him a bicycle to help his mother with errands.
On one errand, Danny sees crooks entering a laundry. He tells Batman about the men who are operating an illegal front. Batman fails to capture the crooks, but he follows them to a factory. Danny follows on his bike. When Batman is knocked out by the crooks, Danny marks the crooks' car, so that Batman can follow them.
With Danny's help, Batman finally apprehends the gang. Danny receives a reward for their capture. The police officer who delivers the check falls in love with Danny's mother, so Danny gets a new father.
