The Gay Ghost’s name was later changed by DC to the Grim Ghost to greater reflect the times. For the purposes of this index however, he will be referred to by his original name.
This story originally was not titled.
Beginning with this reprint DC changed the name of the Golden Age character the Gay Ghost to the Grim Ghost. All references to the original name were changed for this story.

Synopsis:
Blackie Stover, an outlaw pilot and former rival of Charles Collins, meets Deborah Wallace and the Grim Ghost. Believing the Ghost is Collins, Stover invites him to join a band of outlaws known as the Vultures. When the Ghost refuses, Stover attempts to kill him and kidnaps Deborah. The Ghost foils the Vultures attempt to raid a gold shipment, then rescues Deborah.
