Synopsis:
Jon Valor makes port in the city of Tana on the coast of the Black Sea. There, he aids Ataman Irmak, leader of the cossacks. The cossacks are hunted by the Tsar Ivan. The Black Pirate offers to help them win Siberia from the tartars as a peace offering.

Warned of the cossack attack, the tartars are on guard. Learning that the tartars believe that the magic of the sword of Ghengis Khan protects them, the Black Pirate sneaks into the enemy camp and using a magnet to prevent the tartar leader Kutchun from lifting the sword. Without the sword, the tartars are defeated by the cossacks, who then give the captured land to the Tsar.
