Synopsis:
After the death of his foster family Joshua Morgan has become a street urchin in the city of Shamballah. He has taken the name Tinder and is harassed by a pack of young boys who want to take the watch he wears as an armband. A thief master named Darvin takes the boy under his wing, sensing that the armband has some greater importance.
In the palace, Travis Morgan finds himself out of place. He has put his fighting clothes away and begins a battle of a different kind, politics. After his new ideas are dismissed by the city council, he meets with the queen. When she receives a visitor in the form of a young minstrel, Morgan returns to his quarters. There, he is attacked by a traitor councilman and a man who is disguised to look like Morgan himself.
