Synopsis:
Doctor Thirteen is summoned to the town of Broomsgrove where a series of murders have apparently been committed by the ghost of the Black Friar. The townspeople are scared and drive Thirteen out of town. However, the ghost-breaker refuses to give up. He returns to town and gathers evidence. The next evening, he unmasks the supposed ghost as Doctor Hall. Hall was angry that he was being replaced by a younger man, so he used the ghost tale and sonic equipment to commit murder.
