Synopsis:
Jonah Hex searches the Louisiana bayou for his missing friend Gator Hawes. After an encounter with an alligator, Jonah meets an old man and his son. They take him to their home in the swamp and make him their prisoner. Jonah also finds Gator is being held captive.

Jonah is forced to fight his own friend for survival. Jonah takes a fall in order to escape, but Gator is killed. Hex is recaptured. Eventually he coerces Isabella, the sister of his captor to release him. The girl is shot for helping him. Jonah then fights with the old man and his son. The boy is bitten by a deadly snake, and his father is also killed. Jonah barely manages to make it out alive.
