Synopsis:
L.E.G.I.O.N. led by Vril Dox begins its assault on the stronghold of Dagon-Ra. Lobo was sent to infiltrate the compound and assassinate its leader before Dox's arrival. However, Lobo and Captain Comet have been captured. Telepath forestalls Lobo and advises him to hold off on attacking Dagon-Ra.

Lar Gand serves as the point man for the assault. He is met by Lady Quark who is a match for Gand's raw power. L.R.G.I.O.N. is caught in a trap as Dagon-Ra had been expecting the assault. Dox sees Lobo standing idly by Dagon-Ra, so he orders Gand to attack them both directly. Dagon-Ra transforms Lar Gand's blood into molten lead, felling the Daxamite.
