Synopsis:
While the Doom Patrol is away, the Chief asks Joshua Clay to search the trophy room of the old Justice League headquarters for the materioptikon which once belonged to Doctor Destiny. Later, Dorothy Spinner tells Joshua that she was taught by her imaginary friends who now come to life to threaten them both. Joshua realizes that the materioptikon is causing Dorothy's fantasies to be brought to life. He smashes the machine which ends the nightmare.

Elsewhere Mr. Nobody begins forming a new Brotherhood of Evil.
