Comments:
This is a Detached Service Diary story featuring Chop Chop. Blackhawk only appears as a narrator.

Chop Chop's name is revealed to be Wu Cheng in this story. His origin also does not match the story from the first story of Blackhawk #203 which is further evidence that this Chop Chop is a different character from Liu Huang, the Silver Age Chop Chop of Earth-1.

Synopsis:
Chop Chop investigates a Chinese villa that was been found in the Swiss Alps. Inside he discovers Soong Kai-Sen, a vocal Chinese leader who opposes the Japanese. Kai-Sen explains that he no longer wishes to lead his people and has built a retreat in the Alps. Chop Chop tries to convince him to return home to carry on the fight against Japan. A ninja then attacks. Chop Chop defeats the assassin who commits suicide for having failed. Chop Chop then makes a final plea to Kai-Sen, telling him that China needs a leader. Kai-Sen counters with a question about why Chop Chop has left his homeland too.
