Comments:
This story features the Batman of Earth-1, as revealed in flashback in the first story of World’s Finest Comics #251.

Synopsis:
George Dyke, a big time gangster, is executed in the gas chamber. His body is taken to Doc Willard a renegade scientist. The doctor revives and transplants Dyke’s brain into the body of a gorilla.

Dyke then begins a crime spree using the gorilla body. After successfully stealing over a million dollars, Dyke captures Batman and orders the doctor to switch their brains. Batman revives and prevents the switch. The gorilla escapes with the doctor, but a fall kills him. Robin saves the doctor, who goes mad, preventing him from making further transplants.
