Synopsis:
Batman and Robin rescue a lost dog. Bruce Wayne puts an ad in the paper searching for the owner. While waiting for a response, Bruce continues to operate as Batman. The dog follows him on a case, so Robin makes a mask for the dog. The Bat-Hound proves to be a successful helper in capturing crooks.

Batman learns that John Wilker is the dog's real owner. Wilker is missing, but with Ace's help Batman tracks him down. Ace then helps Batman escape when a gang of counterfeiters captures him. After Wilker is rescued, Ace is returned to his owner. Batman claims to have borrowed the dog from Bruce to track down Wilker, thus protecting his own secret identity.
