Synopsis:
The Viking Prince has dived into icy waters in pursuit of Krogg the Red who has abducted his twin sister. Jon faces a sea serpent and gouges out an eye to escape. The battle delays him, allowing Krogg to get away.
Evor, the court jester, and a mute bard are the only other survivors from Krogg's raid. They join Jon on a trek across the ice to find Ailsa. Along the way Jon rescues a girl, Illan, who is being used as a sacrifice to a dragon. Jon forces the dragon off a cliff, then battles the druids who offered the girl up for her death. One of the druids severs Jon's arm.
Jon's friends pack the severed arm in snow and take him to the cave of Gorra, the witch woman. She performs a healing ritual and successfully reattaches Jon's arm.
