Synopsis:
When Dick Grayson leaves Wayne Manor to go to college, Bruce Wayne decides to move to the penthouse at the Wayne Foundation. He finances a new program to aid the victims of violent crimes. His first case involves Dr. Susan Fielding, who lost her husband in a shooting. Bruce offers to help fund her pediatric clinic and promises to have Batman help solve the murder.
Batman sets a trap for the killer by having Fielding claim that she witnessed the murder. When the killer returns to kill her, Batman is waiting for him. Although the killer escapes, and Batman is shot, the bullet provides a clue to the killer's identity. Batman deduces that Stub Sartel is responsible, and the killer is caught.
