Dr. Dome hired Madam Merciless to bring Plastic Man under his control. The woman attempts to hypnotize Plas. Her first attempt fails, but Plastic Man plays along. After drugging Plas, Madam Merciless gets another chance to bring him under control with the help of her witch doctors. This time she succeeds.
Plastic Man becomes subserviant to Dr. Dome. The villains orders Plastic Man to begin a series of robberies. His plan seems to be a success until Madam Merciless tries to short the witch doctors on their payment. They remove the spell, and Plastic Man regains his senses. He then apprehends Dr. Dome and returns the stolen money.
