Synopsis:
War is brewing in San Monte and Emil Norvell, a wealthy munitions manufacturer, is profiting from selling arms to both sides. While traveling to San Monte with Lois Lane, Superman battles Norvell’s toughs. Once in San Monte, he forces Norvell to join the army and demonstrates to him firsthand the horrors of war. Meanwhile, Lois has been arrested as a spy and Superman must save her from a firing squad. Ultimately convinced that war must be averted, Norvell returns to the U.S. vowing, "The most dangerous thing I’ll manufacture is a firecracker." Then the Man of Steel brings the commanders of the warring armies face to face, where they discover they’ve been manipulated and have no quarrel with each other.
