Synopsis:
Batman and Robin attend a symposium on bats conducted by Professor Carl Wilde. During the conference they spot Slits Danton an escaped criminal in the crowd. When Batman tries to capture Danton, the crook shoots his bat-rope causing the Caped Crusader to fall.
Batman recovers from the fall after Danton has escaped. Professor Wilde then gives him a pair of artificial bat wings that enable him to fly. Using the new wings Batman is able to track down and capture Danton.
Batman then wakes up in the auditorium where he fell. His use of the bat wings was only a dream he had while unconscious. While he was knocked out, Robin captured Danton. Wilde's bat wings are still just an experiment and don't really work.
