Synopsis:
Several members of the Hobby Horse club are robbed of their most priceless collectors' items. Batman suspects that one of the club members is responsible. His suspicions lead him to Jim Gale who is missing his club pin which Batman found at a crime scene. However, the real crook took Gale's pin to cover the loss of his own.

Batman then decides to send a bat calling card to each club member. When C.C. Weede receives the bat, he tries to kill Batman. While he is not the Treasure Hunter, he did commit an old bank robbery and thought Batman had found him out.

When no other members act strangely after receiving the bat, Batman deduces the identity of the Treasure Hunter. He sets a trap at Bruce Wayne's mansion during a party celebrating his acquisition of a rare dime store novel. The real crook is Charles the club steward. Batman captures him and puts an end to the hobby thefts.
