Synopsis:
Batman finds a criminal called the Slasher dead of an apparent suicide. The suicide note left behind implicates several of the Slasher's partners, but Batman suspects there is more to it. His investigation reveals that the Slasher faked the suicide, leaving a nameless hobo to die in his place. The crook staged it to draw his former partner Nick Petri from hiding. Petri has placed stolen loot in a trap operated by switches. When Petri tries to recover the loot, the Slasher surprises him. Batman and Robin stop both crooks, having solved the mystery and located the hidden cache of loot.
