Synopsis:
Two amateur magicians, Doc and Flannelhead, are struggling to make a living. Doc tries to use real magic to conjure money and by coincidence money soon lands in his lap. When Doc tries his magic again several more coincidences convince him that the magic is real.

Doc and Flannelhead are soon recruited by Hijack Dorley and his gang. They agree to commit one robbery using Doc's power. Superman arrives to stop them, but another coincidence allows them to escape.

When Doc tells Hijack that he wants out of the gang, the crime boss uses Flannelhead as a hostage. Superman locates the magicians again and secretly uses his powers against Hijack, disguising his deeds as Doc's magic. With the crooks defeated, Doc and Flannelhead leave the scene believing Doc's power is real.
