Synopsis:
Lois Lane buys a designer dress, then sees a cheap knock-off in a store window. When she questions the store owner about the dress, he refuses to talk, then sends thugs after Lois. Superman helps Lois escape harm, then she writes an expose on the dress scandal.

Lois returns to the store and is taken to the head of the stolen design ring known as the Dude. Superman helps her escape again, but the Dude doesn't give up his efforts to silence Lois. Superman finally exposes the Dude as Joseph Martinson, head of the Designers Emergency Committee. With the Dude caught, the stolen design operation is put out of business.
