Synopsis:
When Perry White takes a vacation, he leaves Lois Lane in charge. Lois assigns Clark to the lovelorn column. He receives a letter from Rita Allen requesting Superman’s aid. Superman visits Rita, while she is being attacked. He rescues her and learns that a man with a cane is behind her attempted abduction.

Later, the thugs capture Rita, Lois, and Clark and take them to a hospital where Rita’s fiancee is imprisoned. Superman rescues everyone and exposes the man with the cane as Jim Mason, an Axis agent.
