Synopsis:
While stopping in a small town, Lois Lane and Clark Kent discover a young baseball player named Stan Doborak. Clark convinces Stan to go to Florida and try-out for the Metropolis Ravens. When Stan arrives, he is not given an opportunity to try-out because Clark has angered the Ravens’ manager. Superman intervenes and gets Stan his try-out, where he succeeds, making the team.
Once he becomes a star pitcher, Stan is influenced by his girlfriend Mabel, who secretly works with a gambling racket. Superman exposes Mabel and her boss Mike Caputo, and Stan returns to his pitching career without further criminal interference.
