Synopsis:
Professor Clarence Cobalt is denied advertising space in the Daily Planet by the editor. Cobalt is considered to be a quack doctor who takes advantage of the injured people. Clark Kent and Lois Lane are sent to investigate his clinic where they meet a patient who was given sugar pills instead of real medicine.

Lois goes undercover to expose the phony doctor. When Cobalt and his assistant discover the ploy, they kidnap Lois and Clark. While locked in a separate room, Clark uses his powers to escape and rescues Lois as Superman. Then he also steals a safe containing the records of Cobalt’s illegal activities.

Clark returns to the room, without the crooks knowing he escaped. They release him when they see the article Lois has written, exposing them. Worried that they become exposed, the doctors visit the families of their patients and retrieve the fake medicine from them. Superman contacts the families also and informs them of the scam. Angered by the doctor’s manipulation, the families try to lynch Cobalt and his assistant. Superman stops them, and gets a confession from Cobalt, bringing him to justice.
