Synopsis:
Superboy travels back in time to prove that Ben Hur existed, when Professor Lang discovers the head of a Ben Hur statue. Superboy meets Ben and helps him escape a slave galley. Then the Boy of Steel ensures that Ben wins the chariot race despite the treachery of Marcellus. Later, Superboy witnesses the defacing of Ben Hur’s statue which proves Lang’s assertions to be correct. When Superboy returns to the present, he shows the professor the rest of the statue that the defaced head came from.
