Synopsis:
Batman and Robin encounter a group of aliens who claim that the Earth is doomed, then disappear into the past. Using Professor Nichols’s time machine Batman, Robin, and Superman travel to the days of prehistoric cavemen to learn the alien secret.

They discover that the aliens are capturing cavemen using mind-controlling z-beams. The heroes allow themselves to be captured, though the z-beams have no effect on their modern minds. They are put to work as slaves on an alien world mining raw drakkium. Superman loses his powers, due to the planet’s red sun, but the heroes still manage to defeat the alien plot, turning them over to the authorities and saving Earth from an invasion.
