Synopsis:
Flash is in Hollywood to assist with the filming of a movie. A series of accidents have been happening on the set to endanger the life of Steve Palmer, the actor playing the Flash in the movie.
Flash agrees to secretly replace Palmer in order to flush out the person causing the trouble. During a scene filmed in a mine shaft, the Flash and some extras become trapped when the roof caves in. Flash digs the way out, but is unable to find out who caused the cave in.
In his trailer, Flash is knocked out by Palmer and two henchmen. The attempts on Palmer’s life were setups to get Flash to take his place. Palmer intends to kill Flash off and replace him permanently, so he can take advantage of Flash’s good name.
The execution is interrupted by Iris West, who is in Hollywood on vacation. Iris knocks on the door. The distraction gives Flash enough time to escape and capture the criminals.
Later Flash is able to protect his dual identity from Iris by excusing himself as Flash to go finish the movie, while Iris has dinner with the vacationing Barry Allen.
