Synopsis:
While researching criminology at the library, Alfred meets a professor of the subject. Before he can finish talking to the professor, Alfred overhears two men talking about a murder. Alfred follows the men in order to stop them from committing the crime. When he bursts in on them, he discovers they are radio actors, rehearsing a murder scene.
Alfred leaves embarrassed, then discovers he switches notebooks with the professor. He tracks down the man and discovers the professor is actually a safecracker. The professor tries to kill Alfred, but through an accident the butler manages to capture the crook and his assistant.
