Synopsis:
Painter Jose Alvarado is plagued by hallucinations. Believing himself to be insane, Jose tries to kill himself. The Whip stops him, then learns that the hallucinations were the work of Pietro, Jose's cousin. Pietro had hoped to drive Jose to suicide in order to keep his share of their inheritance. The Whip captures Pietro, and Jose's worries are ended.
