Synopsis:
For Father's Day Linda's class makes hand-crafted presents for their fathers. One of the girls, Vera, teases Harriet about her father who is a retired magician. Linda feels sorry on Harriet and decides to assist the magician, Malcolm the Mysterious.

Supergirl visits Malcolm's home and learns that he retired after the death of his wife and former assistant. She inspires him to take up stage magic again and perform at Stanhope. She then helps Malcolm overcome his nerves by using her super-powers to assist him. When Vera suspects a trick, she locks Linda in a sealed room. Supergirl summons her Kryptonian father Zor-El from Kandor. Zor-El finishes helping Malcolm until the magician fully regains his old form. Supergirl and Zor-El then share a brief reunion before he returns to Kandor.
