Synopsis:
Aquaman’s Sea Patrol has located a capsule containing a small boy. The boy is an outcast from Atlantis. Normally his purple eyes would indicate that he is unable to survive underwater, however he does not have this disadvantage, but he was exiled from Atlantis because of his fear of fish.

Aquaman agrees to help the boy overcome his fear. Several of Aquaman’s fish friends play with Aqualad, which slowly makes him more at ease. While on patrol with Aquaman, the boy assists his mentor by helping with some rescues. In the process Aqualad had overcome his fear.

Aquaman sends the boy home to Atlantis, but he does not go. He returns the next day to find Aquaman has missed him. Aquaman agrees to allow the boy to join him permanently.
