Synopsis:
Born on the seventh day of the seventh month of 1917, Johnny Thunder was a child of prophecy. On his first birthday Johnny was kidnapped by people from the country of Bahdnisia and brought to their high priest. A mystic ceremony was performed which would grant Johnny the power to rule the world on his seventh birthday. With the Bahdnisians in control of Johnny, they hoped to control the world.

Before Johnny could reach his seventh birthday, Bahdnisia was attacked by a neighboring country. Johnny was sent into hiding, but he was lost by the Bahdnisians. A ship captain brought him back to America where he was reunited with his birth parents.

Years later Johnny grew to adulthood. While working as a window washer, he witnesses a co-worker fall. Unexpectedly, Johnny saves the man with a mystic genie known as the Thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt is summoned by the words Cei-U. Johnny doesn't know the words, but he uses them accidentally again to save himself from the Bahdnisians who have finally found him. Johnny loses his job, but he would eventually master his control of the mystic Thunderbolt.
