Synopsis:
Batman and Robin follow Karl Branneck and Vito Procaccini who are suspected in the murders of more than ten women. Branneck knows that Batman is following and manages to elude pursuit. When Vito has done the same with Robin, the two crooks reunite. Branneck then kills his partner to prevent him from talking.
A short time later, Batman turns up at Karl's apartment. He has recovered the murder weapon and has Branneck arrested. However, when the case reaches court, the defense attorney is able to get the weapon thrown out as evidence since Batman was the one who found it. Without that evidence, the case is dropped.
Branneck goes free and plans to leave Gotham City. Before leaving, he plans to kill another woman. He decides to make it a blond woman that he has seen repeatedly. When he tries to drag her into his van, the woman pulls a razor from her purse and slashes his throat. The police find Branneck dead a short time later. The woman, Judy Koslosky, is the sister of one of Branneck's previous victims. She found Branneck before Batman and was baiting him to try to kill her. She is arrested, but she believes that no jury will convict her.
