Synopsis:
When Carter Hall is outbid on a Spanish blunderbuss at auction, he follows the buyer to his home. Inside the blunderbuss, Hawkman discovers a treasure map. He then learns that the buyer was hired by John Denver from Colorado to buy the weapon. Hawkman sends the weapon to Denver, then flies to Colorado.

When he arrives in Colorado, Hawkman follows the map to an old gold mine. Denver arrives at the mine and tries to steal some gold buried there by the mine's owner. Hawkman captures Denver, then turns the gold over to Goldie, the mine owner's daughter.
