Clark Kent writes a negative article about the Metropolis street cars after an accident on the way to work. The owner of the street car company refuses to make improvements. Rail accidents begin occuring frequently. Superman prevents several and finds evidence of sabotage. He is finally able to convince the owner to make improvements, but city reformer Dan Bransom isn't satisfied. Superman begins trailing the man and learns that he is behind the sabotage. Bransom hoped to force the rail company to invest in buses and earn himself a large commission. Bransom is then brought to justice by the Man of Steel.
